How to Join

Membership Registration

To become a member

  • Identify the person who will represent your organization. They will receive notice of, be asked to attend and vote at all meetings of the Members. They have the potential to hold office as a Trustee, Officer or Committee member.
  • Complete the Membership Application form and guide for 2008-2009 and submit your membership fee. The membership year begins May 1, 2008 to April 30, 2009.

Membership Fee Structure

CCFN offers 4 types of memberships: Corporate, Non-Profit, Affiliate or Individual/Sole Proprietor. Membership fees are prorated for joining part way through the fiscal year and are subject to GST.

Corporate Annual Membership Fee Structure

Corporate members are considered corporations with a related interest in food and nutrition, public relations firms, communications firms and franchise restauranteurs. Membership fees are based on annual sales.

Non-Profit Association Membership Fee Structure

Non-Profit Associations are considered trade associations and primary-producer associations and consumer associations.

National organizations = $2,500
Provincial organizations = $1,350

Affiliate Membership Fee Structure

Affiliates are considered to be health-related associations, academic and government institutions and organizations. The annual fee for affiliate members is $1,000.

Individual Membership Fee

Individuals interested in our mandate are now able to join. The annual fee for individual members is $150.
